We sail past the island of S. Giorgio Maggiore, S. Elena gardens and the Lido, reaching Murano, worldwide known for its handmade glasses. Here we will have the first stop visiting an artistic glassblowing factory. Then, we will proceed to the island of Burano, famous for its hand lacemaking and for brightlycoloured fishermen's houses. From here, across the sandbanks, we will arrive at Torcello where we can visit the ancient Basilica of S. Maria Assunta with its magnificent mosaics and the Church of S. Fosca, dating to the 11th-12th centuries. The tour will end in Venice at disembarkation point.
